As a Creative, Innovative or Natural Initiator who is highly energized (or once was)
you know you are talented.
You've used your best skills and perhaps some of your special talents and gifts in the work you do and that's worked out okay, perhaps really really well.
But there's a rub there, it's not quite all coming together for you the way you thought it would OR it all came together fine and now it's all crumbling around you.

For Creatives, Innovatives , Natural Initiators types, it is vitally important you live your life your way, accordingly to who you innately are. You can't live like the majority of the population who don't have a strong creative, innovative, go-getter spirit in them. They get to be part of the pack all the time and the status quo works quite well for them. You on the other hand are a progressive thinker and want to advance thing, makes things better for a certain group of people. And though you fit in with the pack, you are a natural at being at the front of it or at least of the outer edge of it where you don't feel hemmed in by that status quo.

So, if things are how you want them to be, there's a good chance you are not on point with all the aspects of you that make you naturally shine as you. You may have also lost sight of that high energy buzz you got from living life according to your vibe. Life is no longer enriching and soul-satisfying. That has eased off and not in a good way.

So now you wake up and find any one or more of the following happening:
You dread going to work some days
Decisions you once found easy are now difficult to make
Your attention is all over the place and when you focus for too long it exhausts you
You look around for a solution to your unease but can't find
You find yourself buying things or doing things to get a buzz but that buzz is only temporary
If you are honest with yourself, life and/or work is now boring
You feeling yourself drifting on a path into the future that is murky
You now have to sleep longer and it's not always quality sleep and you no longer wake before the alarm ready to jump into your day
You stay longer at work to get what you normally could flash through
You cannot switch off from work and it's impacting on your social and family life
Money issues are cropping up more often and you worry about your future in a financial sense
You get ratty and snappy at your significant other and perhaps even the kids at the drop of a hat
You can't remember when you last had a really fun day at work
You once had dreams for your work and your contribution to your profession but you don't recall what they actually are now
You've forgotten how to have fun at all - even holiday's are now just rest and recovery times!
You now have some niggling or repetitive health issues
You have lost touch with other important areas of your life with little magic happening anywhere
When you do chill out it's centered around mind-numbing screen time and not what you used to love to do, with the people you use to love to be with
You've lost the art of good conversation and can only talk about what's not working at work
You have that sinking feeling in your gut with that uneasy question: "Is this all there is now to life ?
So the shift from a life that was full of fun, vitality and possibility for you might have dropped down a few gears or all the way to one that can only be described as "meh".

Please know, for many in your situation, it's not always the profession or work you are in. After all you probably excel at what you do, made a name for yourself in your industry and if you went into this work for the right reasons, there's probably just some tweaking on that score that need to happening.

What is more than likely happening is that you no longer understand yourself and who you have become or becoming from a self-mastery and personal evolutionary stand point. You may well be living your life from the focus of when you went into the work you do and you have lost sight of yourself as a naturally evolving human being who needs more meaningfulness in your life now.

Offering Inspired Insight

Dear Fellow Creative, Innovative and Natural Initiator ,
If you want your life to expand into a new story where you are living a more enriched life, let me say this:

After working with hundreds of business owners and lead professionals, and going through my own issues around my life not stacking up how I want it to be,
I discovered this...

"You don't have to be the best version of yourself day after day to have your life work well, to feel enriched every day and to feel on top of the world pretty much all the time.
What you do need though is clarity on what is best for you and what your heart of hearts game plan is.

As a creative, innovative or natural initiator, if you don't have this then you may well be playing at life less than what is ideal for you and your spirit and soul is suffering."

That's a tough and exhausting way to approach your professional life which is meant to be an expansive, exciting and highly effective contributor to all other areas of your life.

What you do need is your very own personalized toolkit you can reach for and activate whenever the going gets tougher for you.

Then you can wake up every day safe in the knowledge - you can handle whatever shows up on your plate at that day and do so with the best of your ability - naturally, effectively and for the greater good of all concerned. You naturally become the best version of you that you can be for that day. No guilt. No pressure of the wrong sort. No feeling inferior, like a fraud or forcing yourself to tough it out for another day. No feeling inadequate or insignificant in your efforts.

You then get to live into all other areas of your life with much more ease, joy and fulfillment. "

Whatever you feel on the back foot about, please know there is a resolution that is uniquely and perfectly suited for you.

Let me share some tough but lovingly said words here...Where you currently find yourself will be costing you whether you see that fully or not right now. That cost might be financially or in some other way. This is undermining how you get to show up each day.

So when you have at your fingertips a way to handle whatever shows up, that becomes a game-changer to all ways for you and how and who you are in the work side to your life and beyond.

So it doesn't have to be that you keep trying to show up as the best version of yourself day after day and work and run yourself ragged in the process. You can set that aside when you have a resource, your very own personalized toolkit that you can confidently reach for at any time to have you do your best work at work, whatever role you are in that day. Then you get to step into the other important areas of your life energized and ready to be the best version of you there too - with more ease.

But I get it.

I know how it is so easy to just keep doing as you have always done, making little adjustments here and there, doing some professional and self-development work to support, piecing it all together. You still feel on the back foot though - always wondering if that is enough. If you are enough.

I have lived pretty much most of my life with a big shadow of being on the back foot, of wondering if I have done enough, if I am enough. It's a tough way to live especially when other stuff like shame at being this way also is trailing after you much of the time.

It's exhausting and pretty darned restricting too. It took decades, tens of thousands of dollars and plenty of resources to get to where I now live my life in a way that totally pleases me in a much more expansive way.

The work side to my life is so much more fun and productive too. And the guilt? The shame and even the humiliation I kept well hidden? Pretty much nowhere to be seen these days and if it does pop up, I know how to handle it so that it doesn't affect me or my day adversely.

Why? Because I have my own personalized and unique go-to toolkit to reach for at any time.
